The Process

Tafui's work is a fusion of her digital and fine art practice. All of her prints & textiles pieces are derived from original paintings done by Tafui. Those painting are created by using traditional textile techniques. Those original piece are scanned and slightly edited to achieve the best reproduction quality. 

The creative process in the studio is very much linked to the consciousness of the environment and the human health and wellbeing. Though greatly inspired by water, Tafui makes a conscious effort to limit the use of water use in the production of my pieces opting for digital techniques as opposed to traditional commercial printing techniques.

We also do not use synthetic materials, opting for natural fibres such as  linen for our cushions and other textile pieces.  Linen is one of the most sustainable fibres as it requires very little water to produce and is a durable material that lasts a long time.
